About the Role
The T&C Engineer I is responsible for supporting the management of the testing and commissioning process to ensure that T&C activities for the SMCSW Railway Systems are properly and efficiently executed. This includes planning and managing the execution of site/system acceptance tests, interface tests, and system integration acceptance tests, as well as incorporating test readiness and monitoring of prerequisites.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or certified trade qualification(s) with experience on a pathway to Engineers Australia certification or internationally recognised rail qualifications.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a large-scale, multi-disciplinary environment, with hands-on experience in testing and commissioning within a railway environment.
Similar experience with multi-disciplinary projects requiring systems engineering and safety in design (e.g., roads) will also be considered.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build strong relationships.
Strong supervisory and interpretative skills.
