Job Description

Under the supervision of the Safety Operations Lead, this role holds various responsibilities to ensure safety and adherence to regulations within the SMCSW project. Such duties include maintaining and updating safety registers and reports, ensuring the timely completion of SWMS, conducting incident investigations, safety inductions, briefings, and deploying D&A testing across sites.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Certificate IV in WHS and / or Rail Safety Management
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an advisory capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • High level of influencing, interpersonal, consultation, relationship building and negotiation skills that build and sustain productive relationships and partnerships
